Having grown up in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Heather accepted her call into ministry in high school. Most recently, Heather has served as the Assistant Minister at First Christian Church in Arlington where she worked with children and youth K-8th grade and worked on the church’s communication efforts (website, social media, publicity/marketing). Before serving at FCC, Heather served at Central Christian Church in Dallas as the Associate Minister, dabbling in all areas of church life. Heather is a graduate of Texas Christian University and Brite Divinity School at TCU (M. Div.). She was ordained in October 2014.

Heather began dating her husband, Casey, in 2006. They were married in 2012 and welcomed their daughter, Sophia in 2018.

Outside of the church, Heather can be found watching moves and binge-watching TV shows. She enjoys knitting and being outside. She also loves watching Sophia grow and explore the world!
