Park Place Children
WORSHIP
We welcome children into the corporate worship space each Sunday. Children have the opportunity to participate in services as acolytes, readers, and prayer leaders.
After the Children's Sermon, children may return to their family. Children 2nd grade and under are invited go to the PrayGround, a sacred space complete with activities to help kids tune into worship. Tools provided help them quiet their thoughts and bodies so they can watch and listen to worship. They return to the Sanctuary during the communion hymn.
All children are provided a worship bag, if they choose, with items to help them in worship.
FAITH FORMATION
Sunday evenings our children have an opportunity to learn more about God in their own class time.
Our Elementary Youth meet at 4:30 pm on Sunday evenings for Bible study and games. Currently they meet outside, weather permitting, and require masks to be worn over the nose and mouth. If weather does not permit us to meet outside, we meet on Zoom. Please message us to get the login information.
ACTIVITIES
Our elementary-aged children also meet at 4:30 pm the 2nd Sunday of every month just before Faith Formation activities. They will enjoy an interactive life-application lesson and games.
It is also important for children to have opportunities to live out their faith. Throughout the year, our children also work together to work on projects that help them put their faith into action.
