Dreary weather did not stop a special blessing event for some four legged friends. The second annual "Blessing of the Pets" took place as planned at Park Place Christian Church. The sanctuary was packed with dogs, cats,  and other precious pets including a screech owl and a horse.     Overall, more than 50 pets received a blessing Saturday.
    "We just feel like animals are such a blessing in our lives, we want to turn around and ask for God's blessing in return on our pets that we love and who love us," said Rebecca Dodge.
    In addition to the pet blessing, owners could also get all types of information from about a dozen pet organizations and agencies that set up booths.
